Rental Services - Delivery versus Pickup

All orders are given the following options for rental: Delivery (Setup/Breakdown by our On-site Design Team) or Pickup (Client is Responsible for Pickup/Dropoff at our Warehouse).

Our pickup/dropoff option is available to customers who are going to pick up their rental items from our national warehouse located in Austin, Texas.

Intelligent Lighting Designs' team of professionals is your #1 choice for the installation of your rental equipment from Rent My Event.  We highly recommend hiring an ILD design team to deliver, setup, and pickup/breakdown your items at your event venue.  By hiring professionals to install your equipment, you eliminate a level of stress in the production of your event and also guarantee all items are correctly setup.  You are assigned a design specialist to your event who will walk you through the design of your lighting and audiovisual, as well as the coordination of your on-site design team.

What information do we collect?

We collect information from you when you register on our site, place an order or subscribe to our newsletter. When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number, credit card information or Intelligent Lighting Design. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.

Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways: 
To process transactions

Cancellation Policy

Any cancellation of an event must be received in electronic format and sent to  The following cancellation fees apply: (A) More than 90 days prior to the event date: 45% of Total Anticipated Revenue (B) 61 – 90 days prior to event date: 65% of Total Anticipated Revenue (C) 31 – 60 days prior to event date: 85% of Total Anticipated Revenue (D) 0 – 30 days prior to event date: 100% of Total Anticipated Revenue. In the case of a cancellation, Client immediately relinquishes all prior payments and remains liable for an Event Cancellation fee if the fee is more than credit balance on file.

Payment, Pricing & Promotions

Our Payment structure is based off of paying for your rental items fully upon ordering them or through a partial payment process. Orders may be paid through a partial payment process only if the event date given is more than 30 days from the order date. If this is the case, then the payment structure consists of 2 payments. One payment of 50% on the date of the order and then the second payment of 50% is to be made 30 Days before the start of the event date given. Orders may be paid through a full payment process on the day the order was made. This is the only option availible if the event starts less than 30 Days of the day the order is made.
